Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the services provided by Western Wildlife Art Taxidermy Studio, Inc ("us", "we", or "our"). Your access to and use of our services is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all clients, visitors, and others who wish to access or use our services.
1. Services
Western Wildlife Art Taxidermy Studio, Inc provides professional taxidermy services, including but not limited to big game shoulder mounts, bird and waterfowl mounts, rugs, life‑size mounts, and European mounts. The specific scope of work, pose, habitat, pricing, and timelines for each client will be outlined at the time your trophy is received or when a work order is approved.
2. Client Obligations
The client is responsible for delivering legally harvested animals in compliance with all applicable wildlife regulations and for providing accurate information regarding species, location, and any special requirements. Specimens must be properly cared for in the field (cooling and handling) to prevent spoilage. We are not responsible for damage or hair slippage caused by improper field care or delayed delivery.
3. Payment Terms
Payment for services will be governed by the terms discussed and agreed upon at the time of order. A deposit may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion and prior to pickup or shipping. Mounts not paid for within a reasonable time after completion may incur storage fees or be considered abandoned and handled in accordance with applicable law.
4. Care, Loss, and Damage
We take reasonable care in handling all specimens and finished mounts. However, Western Wildlife Art Taxidermy Studio, Inc is not responsible for loss or damage caused by fire, theft, vandalism, or other events beyond our control. In the unlikely event of loss or damage attributable to our direct negligence, liability will be limited to a refund of any deposit or work charges paid for the affected item.
5. Artistic Judgment
Taxidermy is an art form, and each piece involves an element of artistic judgment. By commissioning a mount, you acknowledge that pose, expression, and finish may vary slightly from reference photos or examples due to the individual nature of each specimen. Reasonable variations in artistic interpretation do not constitute defects.
6. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide the highest quality taxidermy services, we do not guarantee specific completion dates or outcomes beyond what is reasonable for the condition of the specimen. In no event shall Western Wildlife Art Taxidermy Studio, Inc be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with our services.
7. Cancellations
If you choose to cancel your order after work has begun, deposits may be non‑refundable and you may be responsible for the value of work completed up to the cancellation date. Unclaimed specimens or mounts after repeated contact attempts may be considered abandoned.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
